Hack4Heritage is Kingston’s first heritage-themed mixed reality hackathon. Join us for an unforgettable weekend of learning, ideation and creativity. We’ll preserve stories as immersive experience, games or apps. Storytelling will become storyliving in virtual reality and augmented reality.

This event is for you! We invite artists, creatives, storytellers, coders and anyone interested in heritage. You are not required to be an expert on a technology to be part of the hackathon!

Learn
· Presentations and workshops prepare participants with fundamentals for creating an immersive experience/game/app.

Create
· Design a new story for mixed reality. See ideas move to prototypes on Acer Windows Mixed Reality headsets.

Collaborate
· Work directly with industry experts: game developers, 3D artists, Microsoft and Unity evangelists. Learn about our shared heritage from subject matter experts and storytellers.
